Dipti is a stage artist having stabilized herself in many of the amateur groups in Mysore. She performs Drama, Dance-Drama, Mime and Mono-acting and currently a member of Zurich Theater.

Her immaculate performance in Sri. Girish Karnad's haunting play Naagamandala, directed by Sri. Sharath, won her great applause from the critics. She has placed herself in varieties of roles in the dramas Karnataka Vaibhava, Sri Krishnadevaraya, Macbeth, Mumtaz, Jalagara, Doddappa, Nammakampani, Chandrahaasa and Swapnalapa.

She has also extended her performance in the Dance-Dramas Gowri, Kerege Haara, Nala Damayanti, Prithvi, Gangavatharana and Shyama. 

Dipti was adjudged the best actress at the National Level Competition, held in Varanasi, India, for the role of Lady Macbeth. Her other mega characters include Raktakshi, Kanaka and Ophelia.

Apart from stage, Dipti has the experience of facing the camera in the documentary film, Vande Maataram.
